Irish College of English Social Programme

Cultural & Social Programmes

At Irish College of English we promote students having an active social life, mixing with students of all nationalities and Irish people and also having the opportunity to see some of Ireland’s famous cultural, historic and site of natural beauty.

At school we organise free conversation classes, city tours one day a week, pub nights out or in-school parties.

Our regular tours/trips organised that students can take part in are free, or students just pay entrance fees. These include Dublin City Center orientation, visits to tourist attractions like Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse, Saturday coach trips outside of Dublin etc.

We also have a notice board listing interesting events happening nation wide, ideas for weekend travel etc.

Our staff are always happy to help students arrange tours etc. Follow us on Social Media for more up to date Social News and Activities.

Adult Social Programme

At the Irish College of English, the students enjoy a lively social life. With three pubs within a two minute walk the school, it isn’t difficult! Dublin City Center is only 20 minutes away by train so it is easy to enjoy big nights out in the big city.

The schools enjoys a friendly atmosphere and it is always easy to make new friends. While we don’t have an organised social programme, the school has a travel and social notice board with events and ideas.

During the summer months, we offer weekly Saturday excursions to adult students. Trips include Kilkenny, Glendalough and Belfast.
