  1. Cancellations and Refund Policy: Our ‘Book with confidence Guarantee’ is designed to offer flexibility while also ensuring we can provide the best service to all students. We highly recommend that students/parents/guardians/group organisers purchase travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to their travel plans.

 

  • Cancellation 7 days or more before arrival – Full refund
  • Cancellation 3 – 6 days before arrival – 50% refund of the total booking amount
  • Cancellation 1 – 2 days before arrival – No refund

         

         Important Notes:

         All cancellations must be made in writing to info@iceireland.com and acknowledged by the College.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of the cancellation confirmation.
  • No refunds will be given for no-shows or early departures from courses.
  • ‘Arrival’ for the purposes of our refund policy is 10am on day of arrival irrelevant of actual arrival time

 

  1. Admissions: Our admission process is designed to be inclusive and transparent, adhering to clear criteria for both junior and adult learners, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants. Information about our programmes and admission procedures is communicated clearly and made readily available to prospective learners, ensuring transparency and accessibility.
  • Information on our courses is available on our website and also from our enrolments team.
  • Students/Parents/Guardians or Group Organisers can apply on line through our booking system or group enquiry form
  • We also welcome direct enquiries and contact by email or phone or in person at our school in Malahide
  • We provide comprehensive information pre booking including brochures, booking forms and additional information.
  • Support for Diverse Learners: We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations and support services to learners and will evaluate on a case-by-case basis what additional needs we can support within our programmes. Our Policy on Allergies, Medical Conditions and Additional Needs is available to view on our website in QA Manual by all stakeholders.

 

  1. Transfers: Flight number, date and time of arrival must be advised to the Irish College of English as soon as possible to enable us to arrange your collection at the airport. Where flights are delayed/cancelled, the college should be informed immediately to allow us to reschedule transfers, where we are unable to reschedule transfers due to lack of notice, students will be required to arrange and pay their own transport to their home stay/residence.

 

  1. Requirement for additional transfers or accommodation. Should a student be unable to board a flight for any reason, we are happy to support and facilitate accommodation and transfers where possible. Students or parents/organisers as guardians can decide if they wish to avail of these services, fees will be our direct costs.

 

  1. We advise all clients to take out full Personal & Medical Insurance prior to arrival as ICE accepts no responsibility in the event of illness, theft, accident, damages or loss of personal effects. All clients from E.U. countries should bring a European Health Insurance Card. Non-EU students must take out private medical insurance. Students/Parents are responsible for all medical & related costs incurred during their stay. Group/Individual Waivers must be signed pre arrival.

 

  1. We do not accept responsibility for costs incurred due to flight delays/cancellations i.e. accommodation etc.

 

  1. ICE reserves the right to expel students who do not abide by our school policies or who take part in any activities that ICE deems unacceptable. In this situation, agents/parents are responsible for arranging accommodation / rescheduling flight home etc. No refunds will be given.

 

  1. Registration will be confirmed for each student only upon receipt of completed registration forms and full payment of fees.

 

  1. Where damage/theft of property of the host or school/residence or to any other property is caused by a student, this student (where the student is a minor, the student’s parents) will be responsible for the cost of any such damage and payment should be immediate.

 

  1. ICE reserves the right to cancel arrangements if the booking conditions are not met.

 

  1. ICE reserves the right to cancel programmes where there are insufficient numbers or where for any reason the programme cannot be run. Where a programme is cancelled, we will move students’ bookings to an alternative programme for the same dates. Should a student wish to cancel a booking in these circumstances our normal refund policy will apply. Should no alternative programme be available, ICE will issue a refund / course credit, no other compensation will be paid.

 

  1. ICE must be advised of any health problems, additional needs or specific dietary requirements pre booking, and confirmation of booking will be in line with our Policy on Allergies, Medical Conditions and Additional Needs.

 

  1. If for any reason deemed acceptable to ICE a student can no longer be accommodated in home stay accommodation or our residences, it is the agent’s/parents’ responsibility to find suitable accommodation for the student. ICE will refund the agent/parents any unused accommodation fees. Examples of such situations may be – unacceptable student behaviour, a medical problem which the family is unable to adapt to, a contagious disease etc.

 

  1. There is no refund for students who change from one course to other courses of lesser hours/value/programme etc. There is no refund of fees for days missed during the course, for late arrival or early departure or for public holidays.

 

  1. Students Requiring Visas – ICE will issue a letter of acceptance upon receipt of full booking information and programme fees. Should a student does not acquire their visa, we will refund all fees paid, except for 200 euro which we keep as an administration fee. In these circumstances, it is the responsibility of the students/parent/guardian to send ICE a statement from the relevant consultant/embassy that no visa was issued, before any refund can be made. Once students have used our acceptance letter to enter Ireland, classes must be attended and all fees are non-refundable.

 

  1. All student under the age of 18 years of age taking an online course must have adult supervision at all times to ensure their safety online.

 

  1. In the case of a Force Majeure event, the above terms and conditions may not be possible for us to fulfil however we will endeavour to make reasonable efforts to resume our normal operations, terms and conditions. Courses may be postponed, in this case a full credit or refund will be applied and the course can be re-organised for a later date. No other compensation will apply.
